How do you make a wedding flower decorations?

Every event is even more beautiful if we adorn it with flowers, so we collaborate with great professionals who create decorations according to the wishes that are expressed. Nowadays it is easy to find particular flowers even out of season, but if we wish to use typically seasonal flowers, we can choose from the following depending on the season. Fortunately, roses and orchids are available year-round.

Winter: At this time we find few flowers, but we can use leaves and plants, succulents, colorful berries.

Spring: Best time for flowers. We can have calla lilies, tulips, freesias, ranunculi, etc.

Summer: The hottest period of the year. If we plan to have an outdoor party, we should consider choosing plants that can withstand the heat better. We can choose rosemary, proteas, lemons, grapes, dahlias, diaspora, brassicaceae…

Autumn: In this season where colors range from yellow to brown, we tend to use warm colors. We find camellias, cyclamens, berries and multicolored leaves

What kind of bouquet to choose?

Round or bouquet

The classic bridal bouquet. The flowers form a hemisphere and the stems are tied with satin or silk ribbon, medium-small in size and composed of flowers that are not too large and fairly gathered. A smaller alternative to the Round Bouquet, is the Posy bouquet. Being smaller, it is often chosen for bridesmaids. A larger round, on the other hand, is one that is hand-tied: the stems are not tied right under the flower dome and the ribbon is only used to close the bouquet, but not to be scenic.

Cascade

If we want a WOW effect, this bouquet is made with a hemisphere (or dome) from which a cascade of flowers and leaves descends. In this case the stem is not visible precisely because it is hidden by the waterfall. If, on the other hand, we want to create a cascading bouquet but do not want too many flowers, we can choose calla lilies or similar flowers that tend to cascade by their own nature. In this case, the stems will be visible and a nice ribbon will be needed to close them. This bouquet is usually carried resting on the arm.

Hoop

An out-of-the-box bouquet, a hoop of woven branches or wood or metal that is carried like a handbag. The flowers that can be used are the same as in classic bouquets. The decoration can vary according to each bride's taste: you can decorate only one half, you can decorate in 2 parts, you can color the part without flowers This bouquet is especially suitable for outdoor weddings: at the beach, vineyard, forest, olive grove...

This question is often asked, but it does not have a simple answer and is not found on online forums, where debates are based on different experiences. We cannot consider it as a mathematical percentage of the budget, partly because the cost reserved for floral decorations will depend on many factors. The price certainly varies according to the flowers chosen, in fact there are more precious flowers or flowers out of season, but also according to the workmanship and techniques used to create the decorations. Another factor that needs to be considered is the size of the event: if we have few guests, we consider a smaller venue and fewer tables to set up, we need less budget; on the other hand, if we have many guests, the venue will be larger, there will be more tables to decorate, and therefore the budget will be larger than before. In a budget, in addition to finding the set-up such as Bouquets, button boxes, centerpieces, and everything else that is clearly visible, you will also find items of products that are "unseen," for example, site surveys, transportation and assembly costs, labor

These are all things that are "invisible," but each is critical to getting to the result we dream of:

The site surveys are essential to get to know the location so that we have the best decoration to suit the place. The transportation and assembly costs: we will need a vehicle to bring the decorations to the location and one or more professionals will assemble the decorations. The labor: the professionals who prepare the materials, the basic preparation of the decorations, and the subsequent assembly. In addition to these items, you will also find the vat, which is a tax.
